Why are easels so expensive?
They are expensive because they are somewhat uncommon and there is quite a bit of demand for them. Just keep searching. I got lucky and got an 11×14 4-blade for $50 but I have not found any since. I have seen diy easel designs, but they do not have adjustable blades.
